On April 3 and 4, 2017, CEA will convene its annual Washington Board Policy Forum. This two-day event offers CEA Board members the opportunity to discuss cross-border electricity issues and trade-related matters and benefits with key U.S. policy-makers.
While in Washington, CEA will be meeting with representatives of the White House, Members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, and the Department of Energy as well as prominent thought-leaders, think tanks and U.S. energy associations. CEA’s delegation will also be meeting with the Canadian Ambassador and three provincial representatives based in Washington.
CEA’s annual Washington Board Policy Forum supports Canada and United States’ long history of close cooperation in the development of best practices, leading institutions and cyber security. Moreover, Canadian electricity is a secure, reliable, clean, low-cost supply option that has served American businesses and communities for over 100 years. As custodians of a shared electrical grid, CEA looks forward to deepening its relationship with its U.S. partners well into the future.
