CEA responds to Federal Government Hydrogen Strategy

“Hydrogen is central to reaching net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Hydrogen offers an opportunity to use Canada’s clean electricity advantage to decarbonize other sectors. Surplus electricity from non-emitting sources including wind, solar, nuclear or hydro, can produce carbon free hydrogen. Electricity companies have the capacity to safely deliver affordable hydrogen produced in Canada, for Canadians. This strategy sets us on the right path and we look forward to being a part of the implementation.”
