Canadian Electricity Association Honours Lifesavers

OTTAWA (November 8, 2018) – Last night, the Canadian Electricity Association (CEA) recognized employees of CEA members who went beyond the call of duty to helped others in need at an award ceremony in Ottawa.

“We are proud to count these men and women as members of our community”, said Sergio Marchi, President and CEO of CEA. “The Lifesaving Awards is our chance to celebrate their actions and afford them the recognition that they deserve”.

Introduced in 1922, CEA’s Lifesavers Awards are granted annually to any employee of a member of the Association who was involved in a lifesaving attempt or acted to prevent further harm to someone who needed immediate assistance. The following 13 individuals have been awarded a Lifesaver Award. To read their incredible stories, click here.
