Acts as the chief representative and spokesperson for CEA and its members, focusing on issues of national concern to the electric utility industry.

Vice President of Corporate Services & Treasurer
Responsible for internal operations, including analytics, human resources, corporate governance, accounting, and office administration, as well as all fiscal responsibilities, such as budgeting and financial reporting.
Channa S. Perera
Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Best Practices
Channa is responsible for providing strategic guidance and direction over policy development related to the electricity value-chain (generation, transmission, distribution, and customer service) as well broad-based policy issues such as sustainability, human resources, health and safety, standards, environmental regulations, and Indigenous affairs among others.
Vice President of Communications and Marketing
Responsible for CEA’s communications department, overseeing strategic communications planning, marketing, events and public affairs as well as social, digital and traditional media relations on behalf of the organization and its members.
Vice President of Government Relations
Responsible for directing the association’s government-focused advocacy efforts, with a particular focus at the political level. He manages the association’s Government Relations Strategy Group (GRSG).
Corporate Secretary and Director Membership and Sustainability
Janice acts as CEA’s Corporate Secretary and Membership Services Manager and is responsible for enhancing the quality of service offerings and value to the Membership as well as serving as a resource to CEA’s Board of Directors.
Director of Emerging Issues
Works with senior CEA members and industry experts to identify, predict, and prepare for technological innovations and potentially disruptive market changes across the energy sector.
Director of Government Relations
Responsible for managing government relations activities, with leadership on activities at the U.S. and North American levels. This role also includes responsibility for CEA’s Power Marketers Council and CEA’s member committee focussed on grid security.
Director of Risk, Reliability and Resiliency
Leads the CEA’s Analytics Program, the only national industry program that leverages reliability data analytics on behalf of member and participating utilities.
Director of Regulatory Affairs & Grid Infrastructur
Responsible for managing CEA Transmission & Distribution councils and committees. These groups focus on the development of, and advocacy for, policy positions and priorities relating to electricity transmission & distribution projects and operations.
Director of Customer and Energy Efficiency
Responsible for everything Customer related at CEA, as well as Energy Efficiency.
Director of Generation and Stewardship
Responsible for CEA’s Generation Council, which leads CEA’s strategic advocacy on issues and policies related to the generation of electricity, including climate change and clean energy, wildlife, fisheries and impact assessments.
Reporting to the COO, the Senior Fellow is advisor, counsel and mentor to CEA staff, programs and councils. The Senior Fellow is a member of CEA senior management in an advisory capacity and is a member of the Directors Committee. Additionally, the Senior Fellow provides advice and counsel to the President & CEO and the Planning and Priorities Committee
